Construction is regarded as a high risk industry and with the added risk of working at height it is important that NEC emplyees have a good understanding of Health and Safety and what they can do to avoid unecessary risks.
North East Contracts is dedicated to the Health and Safety of its employees and by regular training, toolboxtalks, risk assessments and site insepctions they aim to maintain a low risk working environment on all its sites.
AT NEC they believe that regular training is essential to maintaining an alertness towards Health and Safety within their employees. As part of their pledge to regular training they are members of the ACT (Angus Construction Training) group and commit to a training plan each year with ConstructionSkills. The result of this commitment is evident in the 87 training days they completed during 2006 to 2007 within the company.
