Description: 

We completed approximately 300m2 of Roof and Wall cladding on the Doocot, Newbigging, marking our first project with West Developments.  The product installed was Catnic Urban standing seam roof and wall system in a prisma finish, in colour anthracite grey, manufactured by Tata Steel.

The build featured Deep Set Window Pods, which posed installation challenges. We addressed these through off site fabrication which were fabricated by FAB24, achieving precise tolerances and reducing site time.  Additionally, gable and balcony flashings were also prefabricated (FAB24), allowing for clean detailing and improved weather performance.

This was our first project with West Developments and coordination and communication between trades was very effective, with a good standard of site safety.  It was an enjoyable and interesting project and a good partnership which we hope to continue in the future.
