The Angus Construction Training group is a non-profitable organisation designed to encourage and make accessible regular training for local business' based in the construction industry. The group is dedicated to producing quality cost effective training for its members by joining together to spread the cost and ease the burden to achieve a trained and competent workforce.
The group is administrated and organised by dedicated commitee members who form an annual training plan of industry standard courses and other courses specific to its members requirements.
The group was formed in January 2007 and NEC became members during its first year. NEC's Jacqueline Hacking responsible for training and development became Vice Chairman for ACT at the end of 2007and administrates some of the courses on behalf of ACT members.
