ACT (Angus Construction Training) group is a non-profitable organisation designed to encourage and make accessible regular training for local businesses based in the construction industry. The group is dedicated to producing quality cost effective training for its members by joining together to spread the cost and ease the burden to achieve trained and competent employees in the construction industry.
The group is administrated and organised voluntarily by dedicated commitee members who form an annual training plan of industry standard courses and other courses specific to its members requirements.
The group was formed in January 2007 and North East Contract Ltd became members during its first year. North East Contracts employee Jacqueline Hacking responsible for training and business development became Vice Chairman for ACT at the end of 2007.
